Switch Or 3DS Which One Is Better

Switch Or 3DS? - We all know there’s a lot of people wants to try the new Nintendo console ‘Switch’. Before we buy it, we also need to know the pros and cons. Would you rather buy the Switch or the 3DS?

Most people would say go buy the 3DS instead. They say the switch is not worth it because it’s not completely developed yet. I am on the 3DS side. I wanted to trade it to Switch but I felt unsure about it. These are some of the reasons why, not really my thought but I actually agree.

1. Price Tag

The Nintendo Switch costs around $299 while the Nintendo 2DS only cost $79. Not only the cheapest option but it also comes with a pre-installed games. You can buy the 2DS bundled with some of the games you like, just like the one bundled with Mario Kart 7. But sadly, it doesn’t offer the cool Nintendo’s glass-less 3D feature if that’s what you like. The new Nintendo 2DS XL cost $150 and a new Nintendo 3DS XL cost $199 .

You should go with the 2DS XL, it doesn’t have the 3D screen like 3DS do but it still pretty good and have a pretty decent size for a handheld portable console game that could fit in your pocket and bring it anywhere, play anywhere you want.

2. Variety Of Designs And Model

Nintendo let their users to costumize their Nintendo Switch consoles but if you want something stands out then is 3DS is the answer. As I said before, we could buy the Nintendo as a bundle and usually the console comes by the bundle will also have some unique design based on the game.

There’s even a $150 version of the New Nintendo 2DS that looks like a Pikachu, so if you’re a of Pokemon you could buy that or maybe you can get it in a black and blue or black and orange configuration.

3. Switch Have Shorter Battery Life Than The 3DS

The Switch only gets 3 or maybe 4 hours of battery life when it’s not connected to power, it depens on what game you’re playing.

And there’s the New Nintendo 2DS XL and New Nintendo 3DS XL, both of it get around 7 hours of battery life, but you’ll get less if you use the 3D effects on the 3DS. The 2DS got around 5.5 hours which is way better and longer playtime than the Switch.

4. Extra Apps Like Netflix And Hulu

Nintendo 3DS offers apps like Netflix, Hulu, and even a web browser, it also have cameras at the front and back so you could take 2D and 3D potos.

Meanwhile the Switch only gets Hulu, still no signs there’s going to be apps like that going to add in the Switch because the Switch is still under-development, so there’s a chance they might going to add more apps.

5. The Oh-So-Amazing Games

Yes I know there’s Fortnite in Switch, yes I know the graphics are better, and yes, I know the switch is going to have loads of games to add, the Switch is also going to have the upcoming new Super Smash Bros. Buuut the 3DS and 2DS also have lots and lots of amazing games, even the Switch doesn’t have.

If you would want to wait for your game to release in Switch then sure. Because I wouldn’t want to waste time waiting for some games because the 3DS already have loads of them. Just like Super Mario!, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros 2, Legend Of  Zelda, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and lots more.

And not to mention, Nintendo 3DS got a lot of legendary games you know, if you haven't tried it then do it. If you already did, have you played the other games? There's probably some you haven't played.

Anyways, thank you for reading this pointless article about the Switch and the 3DS. My apologies if there's any mistakes or anything wrong.
